Residências Assistidas em Lisboa-Assisted Living Facilities in Lisbon

Este é um inventário das Residências Assistidas existentes na Grande Lisboa em 2010, uma investigação académica para a tese de doutoramento "Habitação para Idosos em Lisboa: de Colectiva a Assistida. O Caso de Alvalade" (2013). Trata-se do levantamento de campo de uma tipologia habitacional vocacionada para pessoas de mais idade. Foram realizadas entrevistas telefónicas prévias e visitas in loco documentadas com fotografias, resultando numa lista de fichas caracterizadoras dos empreendimentos em funcionamento nessa data. Em maior detalhe são apresentados 3 estudos de caso de especial interesse. - This is an inventory of Assisted Living Facilities existing in Greater Lisbon in 2010, an academic research that lead to the doctoral thesis "Housing for the Elderly in Lisbon: from Collective to Assisted. The Case of Alvalade" (2013). It is the field survey of a housing typology dedicated to older people. Systematic verification was done through prior telephone interviews and on-site visits documented with photographs, resulting in a list of records characterizing the projects in operation at that date. In more detail, 3 case studies of special interest are presented.

Antonio Carvalho, Ph.D, is Visiting Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Italy.He is an architect who studied at Porto School and graduated at FAUTL, Portugal, where he runs his own studio in Lisbon. Some of his works received national and international awards.His main research domains are: age-friendly environments and multi-generational housing.
