Resistance and Survival of Evicted Slumdwellers of Dhaka City

This book is based on his research on developing/underdeveloped countries over urbanization, state torture mechanism employed on urban poor and how urban poor overcome and survive these oppressive measures to protect their life. Developing country like Bangladesh is experiencing a crucial period of Neo-liberal policy which is helping to emerge a few elite corporate class but depriving millions of poor slum dwellers of their basic human rights to habitation.
