Responsible sexuality in adolescents, the teacher's task

Sex Education is an organic part of the preparation of the human being for life, through it each individual learns to be sexual, appropriating values, knowledge, skills and efficient personological resources to live their sexuality in a full and responsible way. The present research proposes a sexuality program for Specialized Circles of Interest from the Department of Health Promotion with themes aimed at favoring responsible sexual attitudes in Basic Secondary Education, designed from the diagnosis and its formative needs that facilitates self-reflection, all on the basis of guaranteeing adequate levels of sexual and reproductive health. The practice and pedagogical experience of working with adolescents conditions the treatment aimed at strengthening the value of responsibility, which, when internalized and consciously assumed, allows the formation of responsible attitudes towards decisions related to sexuality.
