Autorentext

Antonio Herrera is senior lecturer in Contemporary History at University of Granada (Spain). His areas of research include social mobilization, rural and peasant conflicts, and the making of democratic political cultures in contemporary Spain.

Francisco Acosta is senior lecturer in Contemporary History at University of Cordoba (Spain). Interested in issues related to Franco's repression and the recovery of democratic memory in Spain, he is currently co-leading a research project on Democracy and the rural world in contemporary Andalusia.
