Rheology and CFD Studies of Nanofluids
Details
This book describes: (i) experimental investigations on the fluid dynamic and heat transfer performance of three ethylene glycol and water based nanofluids to develop new correlations for friction factor and Nusselt number, (ii) assessment of the influences of temperature and particle volumetric concentration on viscosity, thermal conductivity, specific heat and density, and subsequently on the Prandtl number, Reynolds number and Nusselt number of nanofluids, (iii) measurements of the rheological properties of six nanofluids including carbon nanotubes suspensions in propylene glycol and water based nanofluids to develop new correlations and (iv) comparison of the performances of two ethylene glycol and water based nanofluids in the flat tube of an automobile radiator via three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics analyses.
