The Richardson Lucy algorithm, also known as Richardson Lucy deconvolution, is an iterative procedure for recovering a latent image that has been blurred by a known point spread function.In mathematics, deconvolution is an algorithm-based process used to reverse the effects of convolution on recorded data. The concept of deconvolution is widely used in the techniques of signal processing and image processing. Because these techniques are in turn widely used in many scientific and engineering disciplines, deconvolution finds many applications.In this case is noise that has entered our recorded signal.
