Dr. Tharani has completed BDS from Priyadarshini Dental college, Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu and MDS from P.M.N.M Dental college, Bagalkot, Karnataka, She is presently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Priyadarshini Dental College and Hospital. she has special interest in Forensic dentistry, child abuse and Neglect, Dental care of children with special needs and child Psychology.

Human rights are moral principles of norms that describe certain standards of human behavior and regularly protected as natural and legal rights in municipal and international law. This textbook deals with children's rights, which is subset of human rights with particular attention to the rights of special protection and care afforded to minors.
