The vastness of the ocean and how it act as sewer and purifier, source biomedical to cure disease, unifier of continents, climate control through removal of carbon and provision of oxygen, largest solar collector, the wave, wind, current motion interaction etc. Aquatic plants and lives play important role in the ecological biosphere cycle. Efficient farming systems be it on land or in water required wide range of engineering, biological,physical and environmental science discipline. It is expected that advancement in all of these areas will apply to cultivation of living things in water. Specializes in safety and environmental risk and reliability for maritime and ocean systems, maritime and ocean energy and environment, sustainable maritime system.
