Risk Areas in Luanda

Urban Rehabilitation in at-risk areas in Luanda is part of the Urban Planning and Construction sector's programme.The general objective is to alert and raise the awareness of the agents of the Urban Planning and Construction sector about the consequences of construction in risk areas and their prevention from a socio-environmental point of view.The work characterizes two risk areas (Morro da Samba and Barrocas da Boavista) located in the city of Luanda, regarding the state of housing structures, basic sanitation as well as the inhabitants' way of life.
