Risk Factors for Tuberculosis Treatment Failure in Burkina Faso

This book describes application of research methods on daily challenges of health problems. It can be used by young researchers to see steps to conduct case control study.It can also used by health professionals working on tuberculosis patients management. The world faces tuberculosis treatment failure and risk factors for TB treatment failure are not well known in Burkina. This book reports study that determined risk factors for treatment failure among pulmonary tuberculosis patients and recommended appropriate interventions.

I am Dr Bernard Sawadogo. After my graduation as Medical Doctor from University of Ouagadougou in 2004 (Burkina Faso), I managed Ouahigouya Health District from 2004 to 2008 before joining public health school at University of Pretoria and South Africa Field Epidemiology Training program in 2009.
