Rodney Hunt is an African American businessperson and former minor league baseball player. He is CEO and President of RS Information Systems (RSIS), an information technology contractor, a company he co-founded in 1992. On March 22, 2005, Rodney Hunt was named the 2005 Minority Small Business Champion of the Year by U.S. Small Business Administration s Washington Metropolitan Area District. When he graduated from high school, Hunt had the chance to play minor league baseball, but his parents really wanted him to go to college. He double majored in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering at Cornell University. After graduation Rodney decided to play minor league baseball for the Washington Black Sox. During that time he also worked as an engineer.
