Rogelio A. González (January 27, 1920 May 22, 1984) was a Mexican film director, screenwriter, and actor. González directed 70 films, he was nominated for a Silver Ariel four times, and was also nominated for a Golden Ariel for La culta dama (1957). La Valentina is a 1966 Mexican film starring María Félix and Eulalio González. The supporting cast includes José Elías Moreno, José Venegas 'El Bronco', and Raúl Meraz. The film, directed by Rogelio A. González, was the first film produced by Cima Films. The film was planned as a request made by María Félix who wanted to star in a film opposite Eulalio González 'Piporro', who in the decade of the 1960s was a comic leading man. La Valentina was a typical revolution drama of the era, and being filmed in Tlayacapan.
