Roger Lévêque (5 December 1920, Saint-Nazaire 30 June 2002, Saint-Avertin) was a professional French road racing cyclist from 1946 to 1953. His only victory was the 4th stage of the 1951 Tour de France, and in the same Tour he wore the yellow jersey for 6 days. The 1951 Tour de France was the 38th Tour de France, taking place from July 4 to July 29, 1951. It consisted of 24 stages over 4690 km, ridden at an average speed of 32.949 km/h.The race was won by Swiss cyclist Hugo Koblet. Koblet used his time-trial abilities to win large amounts of time. Dutch cyclist Wim van Est made fame, not only by becoming the first Dutch cyclist to lead the Tour de France, but more by falling down a ravine in the leader's jersey.
