Roger Melin (born April 25, 1956 in Enköping, Sweden) is a former Swedish ice hockey player and current head coach of the Elitserien team AIK. Melin has also been the head coach of other Swedish ice hockey teams, including Brynäs IF, Linköpings HC, Färjestads BK, and Frölunda HC. In his career as an ice hockey player he played a few games in the Minnesota North Stars of the National Hockey League. He also played several seasons in Elitserien, the top ice hockey league in Sweden for men. As a head coach he received the Årets coach (Coach of the year) award in 2011 for successively coaching Elitserien newcomers AIK to the semifinals in the playoffs that year.
