Role of Actinomycetes In Biological Treatment
Details
This study was conducted to study the analysis of industrial waste water and disposal of harmful industrial materials using actinobacteria (actinomycetes) in (Dolphin) textile factory at Port Said free zone area. -A number of experiments were carried out and results recorded that: 1-physical and chemical characteristic were reported in most cases to be higher than permeable limit of law (48/1982), PH 8.6, Turbidity and 140 ntu, dissolved oxygen 7.3 mg / L, COD 427.7 mg /'s, BOD7.3mg / L, suspended solids 32, TDS and 584 mg / L, Chlorides 190.3 mg /'s and sulfate 134.6mg / L. 2- The majorette of studied actinobacteria was able to remove textile dye wastewater and degrade heavy metals. Nocardioides7 isolates were reported to be the most active one. 3 - Experiments have shown that the best pH for growth and removal activity of this isolate was 5.5; temperature was 30°C and fructose as the best carbon source. 4- COD removal was decreased from 405 to 45.0. 5--Experience has proven that the gravel is the best media help actinobacteria to get rid of azo dye Vilmafix® Blue RR-BB.
