Role of district consumer forums in consumer protection

An attempt has been made in this book to present conceptual aspects of consumerism, historical perspective of consumer movement in India, enactments for consumer protection, schemes for strengthening consumer forums, components of consumers forum network, objectives of consumer forums working in Chittoor District, functioning of consumer disputes and redressal agencies, performance of Chittoor district with selective indicators like cases filed, disposed and pending at national, state and district level, perceptions of selected consumer-respondents towards DCFs, problems and challenges faced by consumers and DCFs.

Narasaiah is Professor and Head of the Dept. He has to his credit 96 articles & participated in more than 118 in various seminars. He guided 14 Ph.Ds successfully.
