Various factor have been found to be affecting craniofacial growth and growth of bone as a whole. This book talks about the synthesis and effect of hormones and vitamins play in the growth of face and its associated structure. certain hormones are found to increase the growth rate whereas some are known to reduce the rate of growth in the bone and cranio-facial region. this book will be helpful in having a basic understanding of the endocrine systems and vitamins and the role they play in growth, development and maturation.
