Role of Islam as an Elixir Towards Subsidence of Socio-Economic Reces

Islam is a religion that takes total care of human's life. Fundamental belief in Islam on destiny connotes that nothing can happen to man or nation without the knowledge of Almighty Allah (SWT). It is also the belief of Islam that no other way to get solution to any kind of problem than the knower of all the manifest and the hidden (Allah). The Qur'an had foretold that life could not be stable but a dynamic occurrence there will be ease and adversity, but those who embrace total stead fastness shall gain. Recession is the movement backwards of something from a previous position. Nigeria has previously been in a boom period when everything was in accordance, but in recent times the tone has changed; every aspects has tumbled down where the stable condition of the nation becomes story of the past. This book aims at examining the role of Islam in serving as an elixir towards subsidence of the socio - economic recession in Nigeria using an analytical and historical techniques.

Falilat Adenike nació el 8 de agosto de 1970 en la familia de Uthman Dunmade Baale. Estudió en la escuela primaria Jamaatu Nasril-Islam entre 1977-1982, en la Escuela Superior de Profesores de Árabe de Jebba en 1994 y en la Universidad Estatal de Lagos en 2010. Casada con la familia Kelani, tiene hijos. Profesor de estudios islámicos de profesión, también es investigador.
