This book highlights on the significance of NGOs empowerment to HIV/AIDS orphaned children. It emphasizes the importance of NGOs in helping these children deal with stigma and discrimination while enabling them to develop skills relevant for their survival. The book anchors on the findings that HIV/AIDS orphaned children under the supervision of NGOs in the study area were seen to have changed positively, marking a spark of hope in their lives. Ms. Emily M. Nyangena holds M.A in Sociology (Community Development and Project Management Option) and a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology, Kiswahili, History) from Egerton University, Kenya. She is currently pursuing PhD in Development Studies from St. Paul's University, Kenya. She is a lecturer of Sociology in Kenya.
