The vulnerability of critical power infrastructures generates several risks and threats to them, thus endangering societal life, creating malfunctions and generating extreme damage to the state. Their protection becomes a major national and European objective, prompting representatives of the European Union member states to take action. In the face of the vulnerabilities, threats and risks the Romanian Power System faces amid the military, health and energy crisis, the Romanian state should have a strategy for strengthening the resilience of critical energy infrastructures, based on predictability, flexibility, continuity, adaptability, and resilience.This book is a useful tool for students, masters, and Ph.D. students in a specialization of Energy Engineering, as well as experts, specialists, technical staff and security officers in critical energy infrastructures, in the Energy Sector.
