Romantic Foreplay with Literary Studies I

'Romantic Foreplay With Literary Studies' is a serial collection of literary essays (seminar papers, assignments, presentations) in the course of my studies at masters level in the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. They may not be 'perfect' academic works because they are my toddlings in literature. These toddlings come in series, in which I did my best to loosely group the essays according to relatedness, or sometimes, according to works mentored by a particular teacher. I again beg imperfection to please spare me. Hopefully, six (6) parts will be reeled out, this is just part one. This first part contains six essays in six chapters altogether, and it is subtitled, '... Ululating the Union of Literacy and Performance.'

Vincent Jimson has an M. A in Literature, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is a teacher, an actor, a public speaker, apart from being a writer. He currently teaches GES 101 & 102 at the Centre for General Studies (CGS), University of Ibadan. Aside the numerous academic works, his first novel, Tears of a Widow, is also listed on this imprint.
