Roots and Roadmaps for Community Tourism and University Landscapes

This book presents an interdisciplinary approach to sustainable tourism and built landscapes, exploring connections between communities, the environment and university spaces. The first chapter provides a systematic review of the paths and trends of community-based tourism in Brazil, highlighting its relevance to local development, cultural appreciation and environmental preservation. The second chapter analyzes afforestation at the Campo Grande Campus of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, reflecting on its ecological, aesthetic and functional importance for the academic community. The book seeks to contribute to debates on sustainability, planning and quality of life in tourist and urban spaces.
