Rural development in India

The man-centered focus of rural Development must well integrated with the study of man itself in his ordinary life in the present context of post modern global scenario. In the present context human development defined in terms of the three components of health education and capacity for economic provisioning, in turn means the components of health, education and capacity for economic provisioning as a significant components of human resource development. That is the reason why rural development has received greater attention today by academics and policy makers. Indeed, human resource development in rural development would be in the immediate future would play a greater role in the growth and developed process in India. The validity of this line of argument has continued from the present day which is why the human aspects of rural present development process in India will become a process of economic development or social development or even political development. Under various dimensions the book has good compilation of papers on these issues rather than discussion of directly to human development and human resource development.
