Il a obtenu un B F Sc et un M F Sc de WBUAFS et un Ph D de Visva Bharati, PGDRD de IGNOU, PGDAEM de MANAGE. Il a publié 10 livres, 13 chapitres de livres et 28 articles de recherche. Il a été récompensé par le Best Scientist Award et d'autres prix.
