Rwanda's Achievements in Implementation of Montreal and Kyoto Protocol

The Goal 7 of Millennium Development (MDG7) reinforces Montreal and Kyoto Protocol and calls for ensuring Environmental Sustainability by reversing the loss of environmental resources, reducing biodiversity loss, promoting access to clean water and sanitation and by improving lives of several people. Rwanda has been several times awarded at International Level for its considerable progresses in environment protection and it has been marked by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as the global host of the World Environment Day 2010 in recognition of the country's efforts to transition to a Green Economy through a series of ground breaking initiatives.
