Sabbath and Jubilee:

This work would make an analysis of the institutions of Sabbath and Jubilee and find elements of social justice in them. The focal point of this work is to disclose the treasure found in these institutions in establishing a just society or community. Though the target group of our present study is the members of the Church, it finally embraces the whole humanity as its findings will be relevant to every human being, who is in search of justice, joy and salvation.

Anthony Raj A., a priest of the Diocese of Chikmagalur, India, is currently the Registrar and Head of the Department of Moral Theology at St. Peter s Pontifical Institute, Bangalore, Karnataka State, India. He is also a formation staff at St. Peter s Pontifical Seminary, Bangalore. He holds a licentiate in Moral Theology from DVK, Bangalore.
