Saber is a California-based graffiti artist also known by the name Saber 1 or Saberone. The Washington Post has described him as one of "the best and most respected artists" in his field. Saber is most famous for an exceptionally large piece he did on the concrete bank of the Los Angeles River in 1997[2]. The work was viewable from satellite until late in 2009 when the city covered it with grey paint in an attempt to control vandalism. He has also tagged many places in San Francisco, and was interviewed by Juxtapoz Art & Culture Magazine for the July 2007 issue.
