Sabke Lake

This book is a research work into some aspects of the Limnology and Fisheries potential of a typical African Man made Lake. It documented the physico-chemical parameters of the Lake and the distributions/abundance of the Phytoplankton, Zooplankton, Macro-invertebrates and the composition of the Fish species of Sabke Lake, which is a shallow Freshwater Lake located in Katsina State, Nigeria. The book is written to assist the professional who will want to make comparative studies with other Lakes and the amateur who will develop interest in the field of ecology. Emphasis is placed on understanding the dynamic interrelationships that take place in the ecosystem.
