Sabog - Sabog Tayo is a parody song of Marian Rivera''s hit, Sabay Sabay Tayo created by Michael V. The song is first released in GMA Network''s T.V. show Bubble Gang. The original song last for 3 minutes and 10 seconds, but his parody song lasted only for 2:58. The title is a reference to sabog, a Tagalog slang term for experiencing intoxication from drugs. A parody , in contemporary usage, is a work created to mock, comment on, or poke fun at an original work, its subject, author, style, or some other target, by means of humorous, satiric or ironic imitation. As the literary theorist Linda Hutcheon (2000: 7) puts it, "parody is imitation, not always at the expense of the parodied text."
