It is organized and put on by the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society, usually sponsored by Raley's and Bel-Air supermarkets, and features some of the most noted jazz musicians in the world. The 35th annual Jazz Jubilee was held in 2008. The jubilee is touted as the worlds second largest jazz festival and the largest in the US. The diversity of this festival regularly brings thousands of people from all over the world. It presents a lot of traditional jazz, but also swing, blues, zydeco, barbershop, ragtime and mainstream jazz, along with a number of specialty acts.
