He is the Chief of Board for Jahan-e-Eghtesad Economic Daily in Iran, which is the country''s first economic newspaper. In the final year of Mohammad Khatami''s presidency, Taghipour was General Manager of Published Media Relations in Iran''s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. He also maintained a previous General Manager position in Parliament Relations within the same ministry.
