Saemaul Undong and Entrepreneurial Spirit Development:Lessons for DCs

Over the last few years, there is an increase of the interest of many developing countries for the Korean rapid economic and social development experience. The Saemaul Undong (New village developpement campaign) has been identified by many studies as a key factor the "Miracle of the Han River". This book intends to evaluate the contribution of Saemaul Undong to the entrepreneurial spirit development of Korean people. This evaluation will help to understand the core principles the developing countries have to focus on while "copying" the Korean model of community development.

Gbemu K.M.Ahose holds a Master of Saemaul Studies in Saemaul Undong and Community Development from Yeungnam University (South Korea) and also a MSc in Mangement Science, creation,business recovery and entrepreneurship from Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV (France). He is working as an Economist at the Ministry of development planning in Togo.
