Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Safaa Mohammed Ali (1982-November 9, 2005) is an Iraqi militant who carried out the 2005 Amman bombings. He has been also referred to as one of the Al-Qaeda members who planned the 9/11 bombing on the Pentagon and the Twin Towers. He is also associated with a planned attack on the White House. The word militant, which is both an adjective and a noun, comes from the 15th Century Latin "militare" meaning "to serve as a soldier". The related modern concept of the militia as a defensive organization against invaders grew out of the Anglo-Saxon "fyrd". In times of crisis, the militiaman left his civilian duties and became a soldier until the emergency was over, when he returned to his civilian occupation and life.
