Safety of Construction Workers in the Northwest Region of the State of Minas Gerais

Brazil, despite having strict labor legislation, also has impressive figures for accidents on construction sites. In other words, the advances made in legislation cannot be translated into practice. The Regulatory Norms represent a step forward so that professionals from different areas can, in a joint effort, overcome this bottleneck in terms of worker safety. This book presents an analysis of the health and safety conditions of construction workers in the northwest region of the state of Minas Gerais and the risks that workers encounter on a daily basis.
