The Saginaw Township Community Schools (also known as STCS) is a school district in Saginaw Township, Michigan in the United States.The Saginaw Township Community Schools' mission is to educate, guide, and challenge all students to develop lifelong learning skills necessary to successfully contribute and compete in a rapidly changing global community.Hemmeter is the oldest school in the district and consists of two schools within a school. One school, kindergarten through grade five, constitutes the district's magnet elementary school for the Advanced and Accelerated (gifted) Program. The magnet program attracts students from six elementary schools within the Saginaw Township Community School system. The second school, kindergarten through grade five, provides a traditional set of classrooms for the Hemmeter neighborhood.
