Salmonella in poultry - a Havoc

Salmonella infection in poultry including Fowl Typhoid is an economically important disease causing high mortality in all the age groups of birds.Poultry being an important source of Salmonella infection to humans, it is desired to know the prevalence of salmonella serotypes along with the molecular characterization of isolated serotypes, so that specific preventive measures can be adopted to control the infection in poultry as well as in humans.

I, Tarun Kumar, pursuing my Ph.D in Veterinary sciences (medicine) from college of veterinary sciences Pantnagar. I did my BVSc. & A.H and MVSC from college of veterinary sciences CCS HAU HISAR.
