Sample preparation for Gas Chromatographic determination of pesticides

This book contains detailed studies on the techniques like QuEChERS, Solid Phase extraction and MRM involved in the pesticide residue estimation on the crops like Apple, Cabbage and Cauliflower.These techniques were examined in detail for their suitability and efficiency in the extraction of about 42 pesticides, reported as contaminants in these crops. The various material used and the methods are discussed in detail and the results are used to reach the conclusion in respect of the best suitable method for these pesticides. This can prove helpful in the screening, analysis, cleanup and determination of different pesticides by the researchers. This will in turn lead to the safe consumption of these crops with the different methods of detection of residues made available in one book. I hope that the researchers will get enough help from this book in the determination of residues.

Dr Mishra has done his Ph.D in Entomology from Dr YS Parmar University Nauni Solan HP. He has worked on the extraction of pesticide residues on various crops during this work. He is having a good experience of work on instruments like GC, GCMS and HPLC. During his work he has screened 42 pesticides for residues on cabbage, cauliflower and Apple.
