Sanatana Dharma & Samskaras of Bharat

While I was discussing with the western seekers, I found that their knowledge about Bharat, the great country and its virtues is insignificant and rather based on wrong premises. The present attempt is to show how the wise in this country introduced and modified the codes from time to time to guide the people in righteous path irrespective of their faith and belief. Many think that Hinduism, the misnomer for Sanatana Dharma is confined to the post Vedic scriptures and to dispel this wrong notion, I have explained the Vedic guidance to tread on a path of spirituality choosing one's social and cultural mix correctly. This work is an attempt to explain the matter that is revealed and unwritten, the matter that was presumed and codified later and the various rituals. Its goal is to introduce the true spirit of Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) to westerners to enable them understand that it is not a religion but a set of principles that anybody can follow without deviating from one's faith and belief and to start the critical thinking process in them. May the Dharmic principles guide us to the path of wisdom like the sacred light and fragrance of the incense, the flowers and the mother earth!
