Sarojini Naidu's poetry: A study

After Toru Dutt, the greatest womam poet of India was certainly Sarojini Naidu. A close associate of Mahatma Gandhi in India s struggle for freedom, Sarojini Naidu was a precious child. This book gives an account of life details and the contribution made by Sarojini Naidu to Indian poetry in English, through which she criticized the stupidity of pardah system and attacked the deleterious practice of child marriage, the meaningless customs that deprived the women of her country of their natural rights, cramping atmosphere of cast and records various aspects that one sees in Sarojini Naidu s poetry.
