Scaling Up Fiber Impregnation Processes in Tires

Most people still have a very vague understanding of vehicle tires, and I used to be one of them. Tires are manufactured using high-quality technology. Three essential components are required: rubber components, metal reinforcements, and textile reinforcements. This book will focus solely on optimizing key parameters in the impregnation process of these textile reinforcements (polyester and aramid fibers) for the construction of a safer and more reliable tire.

Damião Da Silva Sili Handa was born on September 8, 1980, in Angola (Benguela). He grew up in Luanda, where he studied chemistry at the Luanda Industrial Technical Institute. In 2000, he moved to Portugal to continue his studies. He holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. He works in the oil industry.
