Volleyball is the game in which upper extremities are mostly involved. This game needs high speed repeated forceful upper limb activities required during training sessions and matches; which are reported to high incidence of shoulder injuries. Scapulothoracic this study is to correlate muscle strength and functional activity in the volleyball players. Study is cross sectional, correlation study was done with convenient sampling. Sample size was 55.Subjects was selected from all over Pune. Scapulothoracic muscle strength was measured (using the hand held dynamometer) in the volleyball players which fitted into the inclusion and exclusion the criteria, and filled the Dash scale by every participant included in the study. Correlated Data evaluated using Spearman rho method.
