School Backpack: Considerations on Postural Deviations

With an academic background based on concepts that guide the basic conditions of physical health, the author sought to base his work on these precepts. Always carrying this critical view of physical health standards, he constantly sought to guide and raise awareness about these standards among those around him or those who sought him out. One aspect of this physical health concerns physical structure, and it is therefore safe to say that every human being needs a minimum of physical stability to adapt and perform the various physical tasks that everyday life imposes on us. Looking at this daily life and understanding the functioning and structural growth of our body, attention falls on the spine, as it is a complex and functionally significant segment of the human body. School age, due to the lack of information about possible risks to the spine, is of great importance because children and young people are still developing their bone and muscle structures and are subjected to extreme loads through the incorrect use of school bags. This explains the justification and importance of this study.
