School Leadership Development for School Improvement

The aim of the research - to design a theoretical model of interconnection between school heads' competencies development and school improvement in the context of education management paradigm shift. Problem questions: How the areas of school heads' activity and their leadership models are changing in the context of education management paradigm shift and, accordingly, which relevant competencies should be developed? How should be arranged the development of school heads' competencies seeking to ensure successful acquisition and development of relevant competencies? What is a hypothetical model of interconnection between school heads' competencies development and school improvement, focused on the paradigm of systemic change? The object of the research - school heads' competencies development in the context of education management paradigm shift.
