Details
This book deals with the utilization of new pedagogical intervention in teaching and learning of science particularly in biology. The use of various intervention and or strategy in teaching among educators became part and parcel of science teaching over the last decade to promote meaningful learning among the students. The pedagogical intervention used in this book such as the conceptual change discussion protocol hopes to aid the teachers come up with an effective and well-planned lesson matrix to address the various needs of the learners. Alternative conceptions (misconceptions) identification is a good start to diagnose students' knowledge toward a specific scientific phenomenon up to addressing cognitive dissonance or disequilibrium.
