Science of Strategy

Cognitive specialization needs four major elements: pioneers, method, theories, and field studies or interpretations to update its heritage from one period to another, in a way that makes it more capable of addressing the issues and topics raised in the field of research. The major methodological rule which all branches of social knowledge are based identified into science that directed first of all towards dealing with complex problems faced by groups and nations, developing methods of thinking, improving comprehend about phenomena, and enabling man to subjugate nature to serve his purposes and satisfy his needs. Dependently, the science of strategy is also directed in much of its heritage to serve the aforementioned goals and others, as it is part of the branches of social knowledge that specializes in a specific field related to organization of state, improving its capabilities for national survival, its ability to defend itself by itself, and facing the challenges posed from the external environment or emerging from its local environment. This book encompass general background and fourchapters, each one for each method.

Professor Ameur Mosbah is a professor of strategic and security studies at the University of Algiers 3 and director of the Laboratory for Strategic Research. He has authored 52 individual books, ten collective books, and dozens of academic articles. His most recent book is Symbolic Power Theory: Fireless Management of War.
