Security Architecture for At-Home Medical Care using WSN

At present healthcare system is very complex. The need for continuous medical observation for elderly sick people is ever increasing as well. This has been a raising concern, as many people succumb to illness without timely medication. This problem can be solved by using sensors to detail analysis of the state of the patient. This can be achieved by using wireless medical sensor network. Healthcare makes use of modern and wearable as well as implantable medical device in order to capture, transfer the medical information, vital signs related to the patient and organ to monitor and control activities. wearable Medical devices are applications wore on the body part of the patient or it is placed in location nearby to the patient. Medical application devices which are placed or inserted within the patient's body is called implanted devices. Many other applications are available like body positional measurement and locating the person monitoring of total the sick patient at home or hospital. Individual patient or user health, fitness or energy expenditure information can be collected using body-area networks.
