Sedgefield is a neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, just south of Dilworth. Many of the homes there have been renovated, and it is a popular area for young professionals. It is located between Park Rd and South Blvd. Property values have been increasing faster than average due to the development along South Blvd. There are many condo projects underway along its west side, spurred by the completion of the LYNX blue line of the Charlotte Light Rail[citation needed]. The core of the neighborhood is a mix of duplex housing and single-family homes. There are several schools in the neighborhood as well as park along Dairy Branch Creek on its northern side.
