Self-organization of the rock massif under technogenic impacts on it

Conducting excavations in the rock massif and the impact of blasting on it leads to differentiation of the massif into zones of different geomechanical and gasdynamic state. Identification of patterns of formation and distribution of zones of different degrees of disintegration is of great importance to ensure the safety of mining operations and gas extraction from the coal massif. Analytical studies carried out by the author have allowed to determine the algorithm of interdependence of sizes of zones of geomechanical and gasdynamic state in the mountain massif, disturbed by mining works. These zones are elements of a single thermodynamic system - the mountain massif. Spatial relationships underlying the system organization of rocks - the most important of those that create its real relevance, structural design, determine the sequence of changes in the state of this system. The carried out researches have shown that the structure of rock system at technogenic influence on it obeys the clear mathematical law, independent of a way of influence on it. The book is intended for students, engineers and scientists of mining specialties.
