STI International is founded as an association of global expert members in the fields of semantics and services, and is also well aware of the potential of Future Internet technologies to enable a new ICT landscape overcoming key challenges for society and commerce, and opening new possibilities. It is also well grounded with Austria, with good contacts to local research, industry (including start-ups and SMEs) and public bodies. STI International is also the organizer of several important and international conferences in the fields of semantic technologies and Future Internet: the European Semantic Web Conference (ESWC), the European Semantic Technologies Conference (ESTC) and the Future Internet Symposium (FIS), as well as actively initiating and organizing smaller events and symposia in Austria and worldwide every year.
