Semi-Analytic Third-Order Purely Secular J - S Planetary Theory

The variation of the orbital planetary elements is the subject of general perturbations. We suppress the Hamiltonian approach. The readers of the book should be the graduate students of Applied Mathematics and Dynamical Astronomy as well as interested readers in this subject. We offer complete symbolic computations for a second-order J - S theory. We assume the J - S couple to be as point masses. We used the Macsyma programs to determine the expansion of, up to degree 6 in eccentricity - inclination, since the PC cannot pass this upper limit for a third-order J - S theory.
